Printed circuit Board Assembly (SMT-THT)
Our company initiated the operation of a new assembly and design department of printed circuits on May 2005. The new department features two production lines:
An SMT assembly line (Surface Mount Technology) that consists of three Pick ‘n’ Place HS-180 Siemens machines and one reflow oven SMT-300, and a ΤΗΤ assembly line (Through Hole Technology) equipped with a double wave-soldering machine.
After the printed circuit has been assembled, 100% optical and functional tests are performed through the use of special instruments. Moreover, the proper operation of the circuit is tested by simulating its end-use environment.
The electronic components supplier is chosen either by customer’s request or by market research conducted at ELVITYL S.A.
